Drone Activities
The International Youth Drone Competition is a science and technology event for young people around the world, aiming to cultivate young people's awareness and skills in scientific and technological innovation, and to promote popularization of science education on drone technology. Through this event, young people can not only demonstrate their drone operation and programming skills, but also exchange and learn from their peers from different countries on the international stage.

Successful Case--International Youth Drone Competition China Qualification Selection Competition
—— Background
In order to carry out the spirit of “The Outline of the National Medium- and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan”, to cultivate the scientific and technological innovation consciousness and literacy of China's young people, and to promote the popularization of science and technology education activities for young people's drones, the organizing committee of the International Junior Drone Competition has decided to hold the qualification selection competition for the Chinese region in Shenzhen.

From May 26th to May 27th, 2017, the International Youth Drone Competition China Qualification Audition was successfully held in Shenzhen. The event attracted youth participants from all over China, who competed fiercely in drone handling, programming and design.

The tournament was initiated by Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) and the University of Toronto, Canada, and organized by the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission and the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Education, with the support and assistance of the Shenzhen Education Development Foundation and the Shenzhen Academy of Educational Sciences, among others.
